Taking into consideration the new facts that come from the sudden proclamation of elections in Greece at 4th of October 2009 and as a result the weekend of 26-27 of September 2009 will be the last one of the election campaign, the Tourism Promotion of Rethymnon Prefecture, after taking into account the directions of the local authorities, decided to make up the event schedule as follows:

Ι. Announcement of “The cleanest, organized traditional settlements” of Rethymnon Prefecture for the year 2009.
ΙΙ. Awards to:

2. Μamalakis Elias, writer – journalist – flavor tester
3. Pashalidou Alexandra, journalist – writer in Sweden

C. Plakias – Municipality of Foinika – Time: 21.30pm:
Traditional Cretan night, organized by the Municipality of Foinika, with music, songs, dancing and traditional eatings.
